WOW! That was a long, unannounced break (which even I didn't know was going to happen). I meant to post on here, but I'd get busy or forget to or make excuses (even though I love this blog!). I must say, though, that it is good to be back. I'm not making any promises, but I will *try* to post here more often than having a five-or-so-month gap in between posting :).

A few weeks ago, my sister and I went on a photo shoot. (You may remember her from my first photography post here) I finally got the chance to edit them today, and I'm excited to show them to you! She is so beautiful inside and out, talented, and special, and I'm so, so glad she's my sister :D. Hope you enjoy these pictures!

So...It's Been a While

I apologize for how long I have been gone from this little blog. I have been pretty busy and haven't had much time to go out and take pictures (and yes, I've missed it like CRAZY!) I want to inform you that I shall try my best to take and post more pictures as soon as I can. Also, my blog design is under construction, so hang in there with me :).

Christmas

I apologize for not posting for a few months. (YIKES, a few MONTHS?!!) Things get busy!!! (I'm sure many of you can relate)

Giveaway @ My Main Blog!

Aperture {1}

In our homeschool co-op, we have a photography class. A couple weeks ago, we learned about aperture (how much light the camera lets in) and how to change it, etc. Here are a few pics I snapped with the lowest aperture setting.

I loved the look manually-adjusted aperture gave my photos. It gave them really good lighting and clarity while blurring the background. I love how Fasika is clear, and the leaves and grass in the background are blurred out. This makes you focus on Fasika when you see the picture (at least, it makes ME focus on Fasika when I see the picture). As I mentioned, I love the clarity you get when using low aperture.
